Dr. Ron Jacob, MD, FACC, FSCMR, FASE, FSCCT, is the Medical Director for Advanced Cardiac Imaging at Wellspan York Hospital. He was previously the Section Chief of Non invasive Cardiology at Lancaster General Health/PENN Medicine. He completed a two-year Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Advanced Cardiac Imaging after a Fellowship in General Cardiology at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia.  He was the Principal Investigator for a pilot study at Lancaster General Health looking at the role of CT perfusion and CTFFR in indeterminate coronary lesions. Dr. Jacob was the chair of the international outreach committee for the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance and has participated in teaching courses for Cardiac MRI around the world. He served for three years as one of two US cardiologists on the Board of Trustees for the Society of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance. He is currently a part of the Advocacy Committee of the SCMR. His interests include the use of multimodality imaging in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular disease.
